6 yards — 5 stones
Pattern book
2014
‘6 yards — 5 stones’ is the name of my Master project.
‘6 yards — 5 stones’ refers to the size of an African wax cloth, 6 yards, and the 5 stones stand for the conflict minerals (gold, copper, cobalt, diamond and gold) you find in Congolese soil.
This book is about the patterns I used in the wax cloths I made and their meaning.
